iEV Z

IEV Motors introduced the iEV Z, an 80o mm width ultra-compact electric car. The height is 1450 mm, and its length is 1980 mm. The latter figure can be increased depending on the needs of the owner. And he can do it on his own. The car proposed by Danish developers can change the size.

If the driver needs to place a passenger in the cabin, the electric car folds out an additional seat in the cabin, and the length of the body increases from 1980 to 2350 mm thanks to electric drive. In addition to the passenger, his luggage will easily fit into the cabin. To do this, the body will again add another 400 mm in size. All these manipulations take seconds.

The iEV Z featured a completely redesigned carbon steel chassis, new bodywork, improved charging, a front luggage compartment, and power windows made from molded safety glass instead of the acrylic used on the iEV X.

An electric car-transformer, designed exclusively for the city, is powered by the 1.36 hp electric motors. This is enough to accelerate the iEV Z to 45 km/h. The 3.3 kWh battery provides a range of 100 km. It can be charged from a regular household network in just 3 hours. Solar panels are installed on the roof of the ultra-compact city car, used as an alternative power source.

The iEV Z will go on sale in 2022. It will be priced at $6,800, but the first 50 buyers are offered a small discount.
