AMC Cub
The Andersen Motor Company from Liverpool, United Kingdom, developed the AMC Cub — a microcar inspired the famous Mini Moke. The car can be supplied either as a kit or fully assembled vehicle.
The AMC Cub was developed as an all-metal summer microcar with an open-top. It can be easily fitted with a soft top or detachable hard top. Unlike modern mass-produced vehicles, the Cub is based on an immensely strong box section welded chassis.
The company recommend putting under the hood a 1300cc engine. This can come from various donors including the Mini 1275, Metro 1300, MG metro.
Available as a two or four seat model and in a wide range of colors, the AMC Cub is based on original Rover Mini suspension, brakes and running gear with disc brakes to the front and drums to the rear. A donor Mini is not essential as all the required parts for the kit build-up are available new from Mini parts specialists throughout the UK and Overseas.
