Geely Geome Panda Knigh

An electric crossover Panda Knight, based on the compact three-door hatchback Panda Mini, has been added to the Geely’s Geome model range. The “off-road” novelty differs from the base model by characteristic design elements. Knight has a massive front bumper with two towing lugs and a hood with two holders on the sides. There are roof rails and a ladder on the side wall for easier loading and unloading of luggage.

The fake grille looks slightly different from the base model, while the round headlights are quite recognizable. The mini crossover rides on 14.0-inch aluminum wheels. There are three colors in the body palette: white and two shades of green.

With the same wheelbase of 2015 mm, the Panda Knigh is 70 mm longer than the base hatchback – 3135 mm. While the width and height are identical – 1565 and 1655 mm respectively. The trunk volume reaches 800 liters with folded rear seats.

The interior is available in green and white. The two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel has contrasting stripes, and the seats have green stitching. A 9.2-inch instrument cluster and 8.0-inch center screen are standard.

Under the hood, the Panda Knight has an electric motor with 41 hp and 110 Nm of torque. According to Geely, the efficiency of the motor is 96.5%. The lithium-iron-phosphate traction battery has a capacity of 17.03 kWh, enough for 200 km of driving. The battery pack supports fast DC charging with a capacity of up to 22 kW and slow AC charging with 3.3 kW. According to the manufacturer, the Knight’s battery recharges from 30% to 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes when connected to a fast charger.

Active safety and driver assistance systems include electronic brake force distribution, a battery management system, and anti-lock brakes. The Geely Panda Knight is priced at $7,410 in China. The first customers will be offered the mini electric crossover for $6,860.
