Microlino Spiaggina
Microlino first unveiled the Spiaggina concept at the 2022 Paris Motor Show and has now returned to the 2024 event to unveil the production model. This exclusive summer car is inspired by the Citroen Mehari and the Fiat 600 Jolly.
Designed with the beach in mind, the Spiaggina follows in the footsteps of the regular model but features an open-air design with no side or rear windows. It also has a fabric roof that can be rolled back or removed completely in a few simple steps.
The compact EV first debuted as a First Edition, featuring a two-tone exterior in either White and Portofino Blue or Black and Sardinia Sage. Inside, buyers will find a two-tone interior with vegan leather that is particularly resistant to moisture.
The two-seater also features an imitation wood floor, digital instrument cluster and three-spoke steering wheel. It also has a small boot with a capacity of 8.1 cubic feet (230 litres).
Powered by a 10.5 kWh battery pack, the electric motor produces 17 hp (12.5 kW / 17 PS), allowing the model to travel up to 110 miles (177 km) on a single charge and reach speeds of up to 56 mph (90 km/h).
Pricing for the Microlino Spiaggina First Edition starts at €24,990 (approximately $27,300 at current exchange rates), with first deliveries expected in spring 2025. While the model is primarily aimed at Europeans, the company has hinted at possible US availability in the future.
