The engine has a compression ratio of 7.3 and is fitted with a Dell’Orto carburettor. It is not supercharged and has an output of 6.6 kW (9.0 bhp) at 4800 rpm.
The three-speed manual gearbox ensures smooth operation. The vehicle has a curb weight of 320 kg and measures 2950 mm in length, 1220 mm in width and 1520 mm in height. It has a top speed of 65 km/h. Front and rear transverse links and coil springs provide excellent suspension, and front and rear drum brakes provide reliable stopping power.
The small van Biscuter 200-I (“I” stands for Industrial) was produced between 1958 and 1960. It had a wooden side and rear body. Technically similar to the passenger version, it could carry two people and 200 kg of luggage.
