The refreshed 2018 Renault Zoe gets a more powerful electric motor

The electric car Renault Zoe gets more power for the 2018 model year. The new engine called R100 has an output of 80 kW (109 hp). That’s 16 hp more than before.

The torque of the revised engine is 225 Newton meters. The new version accelerates from 80 to 120 kph in two seconds faster. Another new feature of the updated model is the infotainment system R-Link that can now also supports the Renault Zoe Android Auto. The exterior color “Blueberry Purple” is also new, as well as a matching interior package.

Renault produces the new Zoe engine at the Cléon plant in northern France. Orders should be possible from March 2018. Then the updated Renault Zoe debuts at the Geneva Motor Show 2018.
