Electric Brabus Ultimate E is the slowest Brabus in the history
Some time ago Daimler AG announced that Smart refused to release models with an internal combustion engine, simultaneously updating the Smart EQ electric range. However, Brabus chose the pre-restyled version Smart EQ ForTwo Cabrio to make the hot model Brabus Ultimate E.
Technically this car is significantly inferior to the Ultimate E Concept show car, shown in Frankfurt two years ago. If the yellow 2017 prototype featured 204 hp / 350 N•m and accelerated to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 s, then the purple Ultimate E is only slightly faster than the mass produciton model. It has 11 additional horsepower (92 hp) and 20 N•m (180 N•m). Acceleration 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) – 10.9 s. Maximum speed is 80 mph (130 km/h). The range is limited to 77 miles (125 km).
The interior is altered using leather and Alcantara and stitched with contrasting green threads. Aluminum pedals and other accessories decorated with the company logo are an essential part of the tuning program.
The electric motor control system was updated in its own way, adding additional driving modes (ecological and sports), which differ mainly in the speed of reaction to the accelerator. And, of course, they charged the price with all their heart. The price for Ultimate E starts at 58,845 euros. Totally, Brabus will make only 28 electric Ultimate E.
