Aero Trike Roadster
The Aero Trike Roadster (or ATR) was a kit designed by Maurice Bourne of Marquez, Texas, who had previously designed the Texas Rocket. It could transform almost any motorbike into a two-seater ‘reverse’ trike. A sliding rear section covered the back end of the motorbike, simply bolting into place in the tubular steel chassis, which housed MacPherson strut front suspension.
The ATR here looks gorgeous and seems to have both balance and style. The performance obviously matters on the original bike that you chose to revamp. The complete kit, including glassfibre bodywork, cost $5000, but a simple chassis was $4000; the parts were actually manufactured in China and shipped to Texas.
