Snyder ST600-C is a three-wheeled motorcycle
Apart from the technical and licensing requirements, no one will believe that the Snyder ST600-C is a motorcycle. This tricycle is driven by a motorcycle engine, which is combined with a 4-speed manual gearbox. However, if you want to drive it, you will need a motorcycle license.
YouTuber Watch JR Go bought this 2011 Snyder ST600-C for $1,800. This small tricycle with rear engine and rear-wheel drive is equipped with a 586 cc twin-cylinder motorcycle engine. It has a headlight mounted in the center, where many automakers usually stick a badge. This is in addition to the usual headlights on both sides, which are clearly not as bright as the headlight in the center. Unfortunately, the central headlight is directed high into the sky, so it is not very useful as an effective road light.
The small 12-inch wheels are actually smaller in diameter than wheels of some modern maxi scooters, but they still have disc brakes. Since this is a car with a rear engine, there is clearly no luggage space behind. However, if you drive it alone, the rear seats are obviously a great place to store your belongings. There’s a frunk under the hood in front, but it doesn’t seem to be very useful for your storage.
The small amount of information you can get about the Snyder ST600-Cs on the Internet seems to indicate that it was made by a Chinese company that produced similar vehicles under different names. They started appearing in America around 2011 or so. They are incredibly lightweight because they have no safety systems and are mostly made of plastic. But fuel consumption is only 70 mpg. When new, they were optimistically priced at an MSRP of around $ 8,000, though we have no idea if any ever sold for that price.
From time to time, you may find one of them on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or similar sites for around $ 2,000.
