The new designer version Citroen Ami “Charleston By Biancone” with 2CV spirit
Citroen Ami electric car has received a new unusual modification. It was developed by Italian designer Massimo Biancone.
Massimo Biancone decided to recreate the style of the original Citroen 2CV. For this purpose, the body was painted in burgundy and black colors, and the wheels were repainted. In addition, a tarpaulin roof appeared. A similar solution could be found on the 2CV.
Inside, the seats are upholstered with a checkered pattern. There is also a new single-spoke steering wheel.
The equipment list includes a Bluetooth-enabled audio system and rubber mats. A smartphone holder is provided in place of the infotainment system display.
In total, the designer plans to release 150 copies of Citroen Ami Charleston By Biancone. The cost of the model is not disclosed.
Citroen Ami is produced since 2020. It is a small electric quadricycle, which in France can be driven without a driver’s license from the age of 14. The electric car has several unique features. Among them are the identical side doors, which helped to reduce production costs.
The Citroen Ami is equipped with an 8 hp electric motor. The maximum speed is 45 km/h. The car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5.5 kW⋅h. The range is 70 km on a single charge.
