1966 Austin Mini Deluxe
The 1968 Austin Mini is one of the defining cars of British motoring, admired for its tiny dimensions, sharp handling, and ingenious design.
Its 848cc four-cylinder engine was never about outright speed, yet the Mini delivered impressive economy and a lively, playful driving character.
The clever transverse engine layout freed up interior room, giving the car practicality far beyond what its size suggested.

More than half a century later, the Mini still stands as a symbol of charm, simplicity, and innovation, and remains one of the most influential small cars ever built.
Originally registered in May 1966, this example presents attractively in Almond Green with grey trim and green carpets. A Deluxe model, it has seen minimal use in recent years and has been kept either garaged or in storage.
Although exempt from testing due to its age, it has recently been issued an MoT certificate. The car is offered with a V5c registration document, the original driver’s handbook, early MoT certificates, a file of bills and receipts, and a workshop manual. Consigned by Dominic Lake.
