4H Automobile Smera

In 2013, 4H Automobile company from Sélestat bought Lumeneo company to orginize producing of an electric microcar Smera. The main investor of this project is Arab sheikh Hamad ben Hamdane Al Nahyane. 4H Automobile Smera is equipped with a 10 or 15 kW electric motor and has a range of 80 km. According to the company, it is as easy to drive, as a scooter, but it is much more safety. Actually, Smera is very common with Renault Twizy electric car.

The original Smera had a special body tilt system. 4H Automobiles decided to refuse it due to decrease of price. But it doesn’t help: the producing price is too high (18,000 euros) while the main competitor Renault Twizy costs only 10,000 euros. The project is almost dead now.
