AISA wooden prototype
At the beginning of the 50s, Martí Martí, in addition to running his carpentry shop, decided to produce cars. He himself began to draw up the plans for the first AISA car, whose name was made up of the initials of Actividades Industriales Segarra, (La Segarra is the region where the city of Cervera is located).
IRESA 2 CV engine was used to build the first prototype, which was presented in 1954 and had a wooden body. The prototype had a rather unusual design with a high cabin and an elongated rear end. At the same time, the body from a technological point of view was complex, so a second prototype was created the next year.
