Blow Funny Rider

The Funny Rider is a custom front-end conversion kit for Japanese kei trucks, designed with the second-generation Ford Econoline as its visual inspiration.

The goal was a distinctive, slightly playful face that immediately stands out and becomes memorable at first glance, while still fitting naturally within the compact proportions of a kei truck.

This kit is compatible with the Daihatsu Hijet Truck (S500P / S510P, from September 2014 onward) and the Toyota Pixis Truck (S500U / S510P, from September 2014 onward).

For vehicles produced after the December 2021 facelift, an additional conversion harness is required if the truck is equipped with LED headlights. Non-LED headlight versions are recommended for straightforward installation.

The Funny Rider face kit includes a front face panel, grille, under-cover duct, front bumper, and a complete set of lighting-related components. All parts are designed to work together as a unified front-end transformation, giving the vehicle a retro van-inspired appearance while retaining the original kei-truck structure and made from fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) panels.

The total price for the complete face kit set is 319,000 JPY (~2,000 USD).
