Daihatsu BCX-II

The 1972 Daihatsu BCX-II concept was powered by a small electric motor mounted at the rear.

The vehicle’s powertrain included a 34-volt, 130Ah battery composed of six cells, which drove a 3.9 kW motor running at 1,200 rpm.

The car could reach a top speed of 20 km/h and offered a range of approximately 30 kilometers.
