Daihatsu Mira Milano

Daihatsu Mira Milano

Daihatsu Mira Milano made its debut at the 1991 Tokyo Motor Show.

It is a uniquely styled vehicle built to retain all the comfort and convenience of the base Mira model.

In its promotional material, it was boldly described as:

“A Italian pop arrangement of Mira, the most popular light passenger car. Enjoy comfortable driving even in a mini skirt!”

It offers interior space in the largest class permitted for Japanese kei cars, comparable to larger full-size vehicles. Thanks to its design, you can get in and out of this car very easily, even while standing up, or when wearing a mini skirt.

It has a rounded roof around 2 meters tall, paired with large wide glass surfaces all around giving this car excellent outward visibility. With its European-inspired shape, this is a charming, eye-catching and truly unique vehicle.

Unfortunately, the Daihatsu Mira Milano remained only a prototype.
