DR Automobiles Sportequipe 1
The Italian company DR Automobiles has unveiled an urban compact electric car called Sportequipe 1. The new car has been developed jointly with the Chinese concern Chery and will be offered on the European market.
The new electric car is based on the popular Chery EQ1. It reaches a length of 3200 mm. Width and height are 1670 and 1550 mm, respectively. Two-door car looks stylish and modern. At the front, the attention is attracted by a large grille with a mesh filling and a similar insert in the bumper, upswept large LED headlights and a short hood.
At the rear, the original shape of the lights is visually united by a dark plastic plate with the model name. There is a large spoiler on the roof with an additional brake light, and the bumper has a diffuser with black elements, which contrast with the basic shade of the body.
Despite the compactness of the model, its interior looks quite spacious. Its equipment includes a multimedia system with a touch screen and Android Auto / Apple CarPlay support, air conditioning and a slot for wireless charging of a smartphone.
The Sportequipe 1 is powered by a single electric motor with 61 hp and 150 Nm of torque. It allows the electric car to reach a top speed of 120 km/h. With a cruising range of 210 km, it offers a 31 kWh battery. It can be charged to 80% in just 30 minutes.
The cost of the novelty starts from $20,000. It will be available on the market in September this year.
