Elecar Tigarbo GT-B

The Russian company “Tigarbo Eco” introduced the electric sports car Elecar. The domestic brand is engaged in the production of equipment for transporting tourists around the territories of hotels. The new model is a modified version of the Elecar 5E-Tigarbo 2G utility electric vehicle, which has been producing since 2018.

The Elecar Tigarbo GT-B resembles tiny electric golf carts. However, engineers have significantly improved the sports version. The 650-kilogram model is driven by an electric motor with an output of 27 horsepower.

The car received a low center of gravity, special semi-slick tires and sports seats with four-point seat belts. According to the developers, such modifications make it possible to operate an electric car on public roads.

The battery allows the electric sports car to drive about 60 kilometers without recharging. Engineers reported that Elecar TIGARBO GT-B consists of 80 percent of domestic components. In the future, the level of localization is planned to be increased to one hundred percent.

The electric car is currently undergoing testing.
