Eonyx M2

A new electric vehicle brand, Eonyx, created by the Russian company Avtotor, has launched its official website, revealing initial information about its first model — the Eonyx M2 hatchback. This vehicle is a clone of the Chinese Today Sunshine M2 and belongs to the L7 category of quadricycles.

Styled to resemble MINI cars, the three-door M2 measures 2860 x 1500 x 1566 mm with a wheelbase of 1800 mm, and is built on a steel frame. It features MacPherson struts in the front, a solid rear axle, and has a ground clearance of 170 mm. The car rides on 13-inch wheels and has rear-wheel drive, although its power output has not yet been disclosed. The Chinese original comes with 4.5 kW and 7.5 kW motors, which allow top speeds of 50 km/h and 80 km/h, respectively.

The Russian Eonyx M2 will likely be offered only with the larger 10.8 kWh battery (as opposed to the smaller 8.6 kWh version available in China), providing a range of approximately 130 km. Charging takes about 8 hours from a standard household outlet.

Inside, the M2 features a cabin reminiscent of MINI, equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a full multimedia system.

Avtotor officially announced the launch of the Eonyx brand in late April 2025. The M2 is planned to be produced with a high level of localization: electric motors, inverters, gearboxes, battery packs, and electronic systems will be manufactured in the Kaliningrad region. While the EV is expected to be available for general purchase, it is primarily aimed at delivery services, municipal fleets, hotel and resort guest transport, and similar purposes.
