Force / Bajaj Tempo MiniDor
The Indian company Bajaj Tempo Ltd began importing three-wheelers from Germany in the late 1950s. With the intention of expanding the business, the company decided to acquire some land near the city of Punan, where, starting in 1964, it began to assemble its own vehicles. In 1972, production figures were around 12,000 vehicles per year, plus the manufacture of 6,000 diesel engines.
In 1993, a series of three-wheeled vehicles were introduced, today a feature of many cities in India. The called Bajaj Tempo MiniDor. The vehicle was a monopoly for years, also called as ‘tum-tum’ or ‘share auto’ at some parts of the country.
Finally in 2005, Bajaj-Tempo was reorganized and renamed to Force Motors, and the vehicles began to be marketed under the Force brand. Bajaj Tempo MiniDor became the Force MiniDor and produced till the 2010.
