Junkcycle by V. G. Clements

Parts from a washing machine, wheelbarrow, bicycle and windmill were used by V. G. Clements of Elmwood, Neb., to build the “tricycle”.

The half-horsepower engine was from a washing machine; front wheel from a wheelbarrow; back wheels from a bicycle, and control rods from a wrecked windmill.

The “junkcycle” gets from 60 to 70 miles on a gallon of gasoline and scoots up hills at 10 miles an hour.
