Kandi K27
The Chinese company Kandi Technologies Group (Geely partner for the Maple project) has opened a subsidiary in the United States called Kandi America. In August 2020, it began to collect pre-orders for “the most affordable electric cars on the US market” – the K23 and K27 hatchbacks.
Kandi K27 from some angles resembles a reduced in size Kia Soul, and its front end with large round headlights looks like a Mini Cooper. The car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 17.69 kWh, one charge of which lasts 100 miles (about 161 km).
Dimensions: 3460×1470×1615 mm, wheelbae – 2455 mm. Power is 20 kW (27 hp). Maximum speed – 101 km/h.
The price is $19,999, but thanks to a federal subsidy of $7,500, price is reduced to $ 12,999. Delivery of the EVs is scheduled for the fourth quarter.
