Minisprint Traveller

The Minisprint Traveller, built in 1965 by Rob Walker Racing, was a unique experiment in reimagining the classic Mini estate.

Based on the standard Mini Traveller, the car was not only lowered but also had its roofline dramatically reduced—its glasshouse “cut and shut” to sit much lower than usual, giving it a sleeker, more aggressive stance.

Rob Walker offered the conversion as a potential production modification, but there was little market interest at the time.

As a result, only one example was ever built. That lone Minisprint Traveller went on to serve a practical purpose for the Rob Walker Racing Team, who used it as their delivery van.
