Wuling Air EV

Wuling EV in high demand in China, which has allowed the brand to grow rapidly in the electric car segment. In the near future, another EV will be added to the company’s model range. It is called the Wuling Air EV. It is reported that the compact car will be presented in two- and four-seat versions. The standard version will have a two-door body. The long-axle version has a three-door body and a four-seat interior layout.

The length of the car with a short axle is 2.59 meters. The long version has the following dimensions: 2.97 / 1.5 / 1.63 meters. The wheelbase in this case is 2.01 meters. It is larger than the bestseller Hongguang Mini EV. It is 54 mm more in length, 12 mm more in width and 10 mm more in height, respectively.

Wuling EV has got an original design. Distinctive features are large headlights, quite powerful bumper, neat plug, which replaced the traditional radiator grille, and monoblock rear lights on the stern. At the same time, the front end features a chrome strip that stretches across the entire width of the front end and goes over the housings of the rear-view mirrors. The white rims, whose pattern is formed by four separate elements, also attract attention.

The Air EV is powered by a 41-horsepower electric motor. The motor is mated to a lithium iron phosphate battery. The top speed is limited to 100 km/h.

The new Wuling Air ev will hit the Chinese auto market in the third quarter. Price will start just under 55.000 yuan for the SWB version, and 65.000 for the LWB (8630 – 10.200 USD).
