Fox E-Mobility To Release Perfect Electric Van MIA 2.0 by 2023

MIA Electric, which at one time declared itself with the help of a compact electric car with a spacious interior, is back.

This French-German company officially appeared in July 2010. It is being revived by Fox e-Mobility, which hopes to bring an updated version of MIA 2.0 to market by 2023. The electric car will cost around 16 thousand euros.

Fox promises to change the design of the car but the recognizable features of MIA will remain, as well as the original concept to offer the client a microcar with a large interior.

The standard MIA was 2,870 mm long and could comfortably accommodate up to three people. At the same time, there were two more modifications of the electric car: the Mia L with three passenger seats in the back (3,190 mm) and the Mia Box Van of the same length.

In 2011, over 1000 of these electric cars were sold. The model was produced until 2015 — that year Mia Electric went bankrupt.

Fox e-Mobility is looking to turn MIA 2.0 into a compact van and is looking forward to a good start. The company that develops electric vehicle concepts for various automakers knows this market and its problems very well. MIA 2.0 is going to be sold in all major European markets. According to CEO Philippe Perret, the MIA 1.0 electric car hit the market too early, the new MIA 2.0 will be “the perfect electric car at the right time.”
