Alta A700

In 1967 the Alta A700 3-wheel truck was designed and developed. It was equipped with a two-cylinder BMW 700 engine of 35 hp. The A700 had a payload capacity of 800 kg. This truck had a nice design and was very reliable, and it became one of the most successful vehicles of its kind in Greece.

Alta Inc. (according to some sources “Alta ABE”) was a Greek manufacturer of motorcycles and three-wheelers. This manufacturer started operations in 1962 producing motorcycles in its factory in Athens. In 1968, it made its first and only 3-wheel passenger car — Alta A200.
