Aper City Compact 3/5 project was presented at the 1985 Essen Motor Show in West Germany. For city shopping you can uncouple the rear seat compartment, that has an axle of its own, and have a two-seater that’s easy to park.

The car is powered by a Volkswagen Rabbit engine and should be priced at approximately 10,500 dollars at the current exchange rate. The design of the unusual microcar was created by Ludwig Aper who spent a lot of time for searching of investment, but didn’t get success.

The Aper City Compact 3/5 has length of 3330 mm, width — 1740 mm, height —1360 mm, and weights only 750 kg.
