ElectricBrands XBus S
After the premiere of the XBus minibus last year and three pre-series models presented so far, a small variant is now coming: The XBus S is to master deliveries on the last mile through “minimal” consumption, little space requirement and therefore a lot of transport capacity.
Manufacturer ElectricBrands will offer bodies such as standard, refrigerated box or flatbed. “At the same time, it is efficient, sustainable and maneuverable,” promises the German e-mobility start-up.
The XBus S features electronically controlled all-wheel, front- or rear-wheel drive. The battery has a total capacity of up to 18.4 kWh. Optionally, the storage can be expanded by another 10 kWh through exchangeable batteries. The XBus S is 3200 millimeters long, 1430 millimeters wide and 1730 millimeters high. The larger XBus is 74 centimeters longer at 3945 millimeters.
Depending on the body, the XBus S has a payload with driver of around 750 kilograms and offers a load volume of up to 1656 liters. Up to 6 m² of solar modules are integrated into the superstructure. The range is said to be up to 120 kilometers.
