1958 BMW Isetta 600
This 1958 BMW Isetta 600 is finished in white over a tan and burgundy interior and is powered by a 582cc air-cooled flat-twin paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.
Equipment includes chrome nerf bars, sliding side windows, 10-inch steel wheels, and VDO instrumentation.
Refurbished prior to 2022, the car was purchased by a dealer that October, who serviced the carburetor and ignition system before selling it on Bring a Trailer in April 2023. Acquired again by the selling dealer in 2025, this Isetta 600 is now offered in Florida with a clean Colorado title.
Refinished in white during prior ownership, the car features US-market bumpers and lighting. Exterior details include a left-side mirror, chrome nerf bars, decklid and quarter-panel louvers, and sliding windows. The Isetta 600’s distinctive layout provides a front-hinged door for the driver and passenger, supplemented by a conventional right-hand passenger door.
White-painted 10-inch steel wheels wear polished BMW hubcaps and Falken Sincera SN-807 tires dated 2015. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
Inside, front and rear bench seats are upholstered in tan vinyl with burgundy cloth inserts. The cabin also features a body-color dashboard, tan door panels, black rubber floor mats, and added lap belts. Additional details include a rear parcel tray, defroster, right-side grab handle, and side storage pockets.
Instrumentation consists of an 80-mph VDO speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing 59,000 miles. The two-spoke steering wheel shows cracking.
The 582cc flat-twin engine uses a single carburetor that was rebuilt in December 2022 with a new accelerator pump. Service at that time also included an oil change and replacement of the fuel filter, petcock gasket, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
