A compact city car created by Piaggio, the maker of the legendary 1950s Vespas, this model embodies the brand’s philosophy of minimal size, minimal running costs and maximum urban enjoyment. It is powered by a two-stroke twin-cylinder engine capable of taking it up to around 80 km/h.
Production was also handled by the French company Acma, which built the Vespa 400 at its plant in France. The example offered here presents very attractively and appears ready to be brought back to life, although its engine is currently seized.
