1994 Rover Mini “Classic 35th”

1994 Rover Mini “Classic 35th”

Sold for 10000 - 15000 EUR

Introduced in 1959 by the British Motor Corporation, the Mini quickly became a symbol of the Sixties. Compact, stylish, agile and surprisingly capable both in the city and on more demanding roads, this clever and economical little car won the hearts of generations of drivers.

The example offered here was delivered new in France and first registered in September 1994. Finished in metallic grey with a beige leather interior, it belongs to a small batch produced to mark the model’s 35th anniversary.

Its first owner purchased it from a Rover dealership in Paris, where it wore the registration 203 LAG 75 and spent its life in the capital until 2011. It then changed hands before joining its current owner in 2023.

At the time of acquisition, the Mini showed only 40,000 km but bore the marks of many years in Parisian traffic. The new owner undertook a sympathetic refurbishment, including fresh paint, renewed upholstery and various mechanical replacements. The fabric roof panel was also replaced.

Now in fine running order, the car is ready for drives and longer outings alike. Its large sliding sunroof adds a delightful open-air feel, giving the impression of travelling in a compact convertible.
