2000 Rover Mini Knightsbridge

2000 Rover Mini Knightsbridge

Sold for n/a

This Rover Mini Knightsbridge is a rare and appealing modern-classic city car, presented with tasteful upgrades and a strong pedigree. It is powered by a 63-hp 1.3-litre MPI inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and is believed to be one of just 684 examples built in this luxurious specification to mark the final model year of the classic Mini.

First delivered in Italy and later imported to Spain, it has reportedly benefited from maintenance by the renowned specialists at My Mini Revolution in France. The odometer shows 52,348 km, a figure the seller considers accurate.

As the last European-market variant based on the highly sought-after Cooper Sport, the Knightsbridge edition combined the Sportspack’s 13-inch alloy wheels and extended arches with a uniquely trimmed cabin.

This car is one of only 284 finished in British Racing Green, paired with a beige leather interior featuring burr-walnut dashboard panels, matching door caps and furniture, and bright chrome accents.

It rides on its original Sportspack multi-spoke alloy wheels with Nankang AS-1 tyres, and is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes, Koni dampers, a heated rear window, an analogue clock, white dials, door-card storage pockets, and push-out rear windows.

Several thoughtful upgrades improve everyday usability, including a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DA stereo with Bluetooth, new speakers and sound insulation, an auxiliary switch for the radiator fan, and added air conditioning.

The car is offered with two keys, an EEC certificate of conformity, its Spanish registration papers, the original Italian sales invoice, the owner’s manual and service book, factory correspondence confirming its limited-edition status, and invoices for more than EUR 4,000 in work.

The seller notes that the boot lid has received minor touch-up paint and that the driver’s seat springs have been repaired. Overall, this Mini Knightsbridge stands out as a rare and charming late-production example with both factory appeal and sensible upgrades.

With its distinctive spec, low mileage, and strong documentation, it would make a delightful and collectible addition to any Mini enthusiast’s garage.
