2002 TH!NK Neighbor

2002 TH!NK Neighbor

For sale

This is a 2002 TH!NK Neighbor, presented in a BMW Sky Blue Pearl Metallic finish with a tan interior. The included Carfax report has several gaps in its records but shows no accidents during the reported period, and it indicates that the vehicle spent most of its life registered in California.

The selling dealer notes that this example features a fixed hardtop, a windshield wiper, side mirrors, seating for four, and a trunk. It has also been modified with a D&D Motor Systems electric motor said to enable a top speed of about 40 mph, an Allied lithium battery conversion, heavy-duty ball joints, and heavy-duty coilover suspension.

Externally, the car has been repainted in its current Sky Blue Pearl shade and fitted with 16-inch Ford Mustang wheels. The interior gains aftermarket upholstery, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an 11-speaker Bluetooth-capable audio system.

TH!NK was founded in Norway in 1991 to produce electric city vehicles and bicycles, and was later acquired by Ford in 1999. The Neighbor became the brand’s most recognizable model in the U.S., offered only for the 2002 model year and bearing both Ford and TH!NK logos.

It was engineered to meet NHTSA requirements for street-legal low-speed vehicles, equipped with headlights, turn signals, seat belts, and other mandated features. Around 7,200 units were built in total.

Power comes from a single electric motor drawing energy from its upgraded lithium battery pack and driving the rear wheels with an estimated output of 7.7 horsepower. The Carfax report notes an odometer discrepancy dating to May 2014, so the car is classified as True Mileage Unknown, though the odometer currently displays 805 miles.

Documentation shows the car underwent a refurbishment in November 2025. The sale includes two sets of keys, owners’ manuals, selected service records, touch-up paint, and a stereo remote. The selling dealer purchased the car in September 2025 and has driven it about 35 miles since. They also note that the repaint was completed in November 2025.
