Berkeley T60/4
Berkeley T60/4 came in October 1960 to expand T60 range. Both versions (T60 and T60/4) are mechanically and outwardly similar. T60/4 has the same length and width, but featured additional two seats behind the driver’s and passenger’s seats. This extra space being created by a revised rear body moulding, creating a place for 2 children. The rear bench seat was fastened to the car and had a buldge in the center, which was the rear wheel arch.
4-place T60 could be offered in soft-top or hard-top versions. The ver late T60/4 got the revised front and rear suspension layouts. Berkeley T60/4 had it’s own chassis number, prefixed ‘T60.4’. Only 50 of these cars were made. Both variants of T60 were in production at the time the company was declared insolvent in December 1960.
