Daihatsu Ultramini Concept was unveiled at the 30th Tokyo Motor Show. This kei car prototype maximized interior space within the size restrictions of a kei car.

“When you try to make the interior as roomy as possible, this is what you get,” said Daihatsu project manager Yoshihiko Nakagawa about his concept car.

From the passenger side, the entire length of the car could be opened for access, with the wheels moved as far as possible into the corners and separated from the main body.

The Ultramini is powered by a 3-cylinder SOHC enging with a capacity of 659 cc. It has 4WS drive. Dimensions are 2500x1395x1600 mm. Wheelbase — 1850 mm.
