SAP Tomos Mopi
At the end of the 1950s, a Yugoslav motorcycle factory produced small vehicles with plastic bodywork and single-cylinder engines.
The Mopi cars were not designed for road use; instead, they were used by children in the pioneer traffic clubs of the time to learn safe driving.
The Mopi had only two gears, first and second. Compared to a real car, it lacked a reverse gear and its top speed could not exceed 30 km/h (18.6 mph).
The first prototype was assembled at Tomos in Koper in 1957, and by 1963 it was also being produced at the SAP company in Ljubljana.
Approximately 30 units produced. Today, only two of these rare examples survive.
