Unveiled at the 1993 Tokyo Motor Show, the Subaru Jusmin was a compact three-door hatchback concept featuring a conventional front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout.

Under the hood sat a naturally aspirated 0.8-liter four-cylinder engine equipped with a single overhead camshaft and four valves per cylinder.

The small-displacement unit produced 63 bhp (64 PS / 47 kW) and 74 N·m (55 lb-ft) of torque. Power was delivered to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT), emphasizing smooth and efficient operation in keeping with the car’s urban-focused character.
