Tazzari Zero EM2 Space represents a mature evolution in Tazzari EV’s lineup, transforming the compact Italian electric microcar concept into a more spacious, car-like vehicle with full M1 passenger homologation.
Launched around 2016-2017 as part of the Zero family this shooting brake model emphasizes practicality, safety, and performance for everyday urban and suburban use while retaining the brand’s signature zero-emission flair.
The EM2 Space adopts a sleek two-volume shooting brake body, measuring 2890 mm long, 1550 mm wide, and 1420 mm high with a 1920 mm wheelbase, offering over 400 liters of cargo capacity—far more versatile than pure city runabouts.
Its lightweight steel-and-aluminum structure, iconic two-tone paint options, removable glass roof, and LED lighting echo Tazzari’s sporty DNA from Motor Valley, but the extended rear enhances family-friendly utility without sacrificing agile handling.
Inside, it pampers with Prestige eco-leather seats, aluminum accents, electric mirrors, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Bluetooth audio, USB, radio, and climate control options.
A mid-mounted 15 kW (30 kW peak) three-phase asynchronous induction motor drives the rear wheels, delivering 150 Nm torque, 0-50 km/h in under 5 seconds, and a 100 km/h top speed across modes like Economy and Sport. Lithium-ion batteries (up to 15 kWh) provide around 200 km range, with efficient regen braking, PFC active charging (full in 3-9 hours from 220V or faster on 380V), and 15-inch wheels for stable road presence.
Safety shines through a rigid passenger cell, four-disc brakes with ABS, side crash test certification, and energy recovery systems—earning it praise for blending supercar-inspired lightness with real-world reliability.
