B&B Brogan Errand Boy Scooter
Brogan produced 30 Doodlebugs by his own hands and sold them at $400 per unit. However, he later discovered that he lost $100 for every car he sold. He needed $150,000 for tooling to enable mass production but was unable to raise the funds, forcing him to halt sales of the Doodlebug.
Instead, Brogan repurposed the same chassis design to create the Errand Boy, a three-wheeled delivery scooter. The 2-seat 3-wheel scooter was equiped with the same twin-cylinder Onan air-cooled engine rated at 10 hp. It was mounted in the rear under the seats.
