Winkler Einspurauto EA-2
A year before the end of production of Mausers, Gustav Winkler bought the rights for their production and continued to assemble monocars in Oberndorf under the brand name Winkler Einspurauto EA-2.
Externally, they differed from their predecessors in that the wheelbase was shortened by 12 centimeters. Winkler offered five choices of horizontal single-cylinder and twin-cylinder air-cooled “boxer” engines (493-573 cc) ranging from six to ten horsepower, including the 500 cc BMW.
In 1929, at the end of the monocar era, the production of monocars had to be stopped. Winkler’s company managed to build a few dozen machines.
