Amperino C-100
Another car brand will appear in Turkey in 2025. The brand is called Amperino, and its firstborn, a small three-seater electric car, was named C-100 in honour of the centenary of the Turkish Republic.
The C-100 belongs to the L7 class (heavy quadricycles), which means that it can be driven by 16-year-olds with a motorbike license. Mass production of the car is planned to start in 2025.
Amperino C-100 was created by an entrepreneur from Bursa, who has been working on it for many years. The dimensions of the C-100 are modest: it measures 3.16 metres in length, which is less than a four-seater Smart, and 1.5 metres in width and height.
It has only three seats. In front there is a cockpit with a steering wheel in the center and a single seat for the driver, and two passenger seats are located behind and on the sides. That is, thanks to the absence of a fourth seat, the occupants will be able to stretch their legs. The trunk volume is 370 litres – on a par with the Hyundai Solaris hatchback.
The declared range is 180 kilometres, but the volume of the battery is not disclosed. There is also no information about the engine power, but a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour is promised.
Small-series assembly will be started in 2024, but only 10 copies of the Amperino C-100 will be produced. Full-scale production is planned to start in 2025.
