Let me introduce you this 1986 Trabant 601 Deluxe. It had a 594 cc two-stroke two-cylinder engine when it was new. But in 2012 the German owner removed this weak engine and old transmission and replaced them with a 1.9 L VW ALE TDI turbo diesel inline-four. It is 7x more powerful and located in the rear! It has an output of 180 horsepower which is good for a 13.20 sec quarter-mile at 163 kph (101 mph).
