300 hp Bond Bug with Hayabusa motorcycle engine running a 11.22 sec quarter-mile
Probably you have already seen this Bond Bug, powered by a Hayabusa superbike engine. Once on the Santa Pod race track, running a 11.22 sec quarter-mile. Its creator James Stoddart said that a three-wheeled micro car weighs only 500 kg (1,102 pounds), and its inline four-cylinder engine develops about 300 hp thanks to the 57 mm BorgWarner turbocharger. The engine also features an updated camshaft, forged pistons and rods. Power is sent to both rear wheels through a Cosworth rear end.
