Binzhou Pride 3-wheeler
Binzhou is a city in the Chinese province of Shandong, where a company called Binzhou Pride Automobile created a number of unusual car projects, including one little-known three-wheeler: a very narrow tandem two-seater powered by a small petrol engine. It seems unlikely that a production run began, as the whole Binzhou Pride brand expired in 2008.
Binzhou Pride is known for their completely idiotic cars and one great electric supercar called CEstar Smart. The prototype of a 3-wheeler was last seen in Februray 2011 somewhere in China. The car looks very narrow and has a stylish rear spoiler. The steering wheel a bit left from the center (seen from inside-out) and there seems to be another seat behind the drivers seat. It also has a giant windshield wiper.
Sadly we don’t know what exactly powers the 3-wheeler. It comes with a twin-exhaust pipe so an electrical motor seems out of the question. We do know that Binzhou used a 0.870 three-cylinder engine for their smallest car, that engine might just fit in the back of the 3-wheeler, but certain it ain’t…
