Citroen presented a spectacular “golden” Ami: this is how it will be used

Citroen’s UK office has unveiled a gold version of the Ami electric car. In this way, the French car manufacturer wants to draw additional attention to its most popular electric car in the model range.

A unique Citroen Ami was spotted in central London. Supercars from Ferrari (488 GTB, F8 Tributo, Roma, Portofino M and 430 Stradale) and Lamborghini (Huracan Sterato, Huracan Performante and Murcielago) drove alongside. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe and Bentley Mulsanne also parked next to the compact electric car.

After the official photo shoot in the center of London, the Citroen Ami went on a tour of Great Britain. In addition to the example pictured, Citroen will introduce 7 units of the Ami, wrapped in custom livery created by Jenny Sparks to honor the local landmarks of each city.

The tour will include London, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Those who visit special Ami Hubs locations in the above cities can scan a QR code to win one of 7 pre-packaged EVs.
