This turbocharged Mini is the lightweight beast with 156 hp
You might be a Ford fan, or Chevrolet fan, or BMW and other German cars. But there are some cars that all we love. Such as Minis. I don’t know if it is just because they are so small and cute, or because of the heritage and bad assery that they have been about historically, or both.
There are a lot of different Minis: restored, rusty, tuned. Today we want to introduce you Mr.John and his turbocharged Mini!
He spent about 7 years to build it from the bare shell. It weights only 565 kg, so it is extremely light, and has 156 horsepower. The original Mini with 1.2 engine was rated at 75 hp only. We have to thank the Garret GT 17 turbocharger. So it is pretty quick.
