MG Comet EV

IMG Motor India has launched its newest addition to the electric vehicle market, the MG Comet EV. Seeking to provide an eco-friendly alternative, this 3-door electric hatchback comes at an unbeatable price of only Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom) or $9,664.

The MG Comet EV boasts a dual 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, digital instrument cluster, funky 2-spoke steering wheel with Apple-inspired controls, keyless entry, electrically adjustable ORVMs, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera.

This vehicle is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive range of 230 km on a single charge. The electric motor produces 41 BHP and 110 Nm. The battery can be charged in 7 hours (0-100%) using a 3.3 kW charger, or in just 5 hours (10-80%).

Set to be delivered starting May 15, 2023, the MG Comet EV competes with the Tata Tiago EV, priced at Rs 8.69 lakh. Its exceptional features, affordable price, and eco-friendly design are expected to make it a hit in the Indian market.
