Do you still think that the smallest electric Fiat is the new 500? Think again, because the automaker has just unveiled the Topolino. This zero-emission four-wheeler will soon be available in European markets and features unique styling as the Italian version of the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks-e.
Named after the original 1936 Fiat 500, “Topolino” is Italian for Mickey Mouse. The new iteration draws inspiration from the cuter and trendier 1957 Fiat 500, complete with round headlights, a soft top, retro-style wheel covers and a stylish exterior.
The Topolino EV measuring 8.3 feet (2.53 meters) in length. The electric vehicle shares the same 8 hp (6 kW) electric motor and 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery as its siblings, offering a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) and a range of 43 miles (70 km).
The automaker describes the urban-oriented EV as embodying joy, optimism and fun, suggesting that it will be accessible to even the youngest drivers, offering mobility and independence. It’s worth noting that in certain European countries, local legislation allows teenagers to legally operate heavy four-wheelers from the age of 14 or 16.
In addition, dealers will offer customers a matching bag to store their things that can be affixed to the standard rear rack. A USB fan, a Bluetooth speaker, a thermal water bottle, and two seat covers that can be used as towels after your shower will also be available.
Fiat Topolino Dolcevita
The doorless version is called the Dolcevita. It has no side windows and has cables instead of doors. You can also catch a glimpse of the fancy dashboard upholstery and light-colored seats.
Although colors are limited to one, buyers of the doorless car can also get a sticker package that adds white stripes to their vehicle.
Fiat Topolino Sport
In 2026, Fiat presented the Topolino Sport. It is inspired by the 1958 Nuova 500 Sport: four new colors, decorative stripes. The model also has a number of black components including the headlight surrounds, mirror caps, and wheels.
Inside, there are black seats and a Dolcevita Box wrapped in carbon-look vinyl. They’re joined by new belts as well as a Monsterlino Bluetooth speaker. The latter was created in collaboration with Monster and magnetically attaches to the vehicle, and can be easily removed.
Topolino Vilebrequin Collector’s Edition
Another new addition to the Topolino range in 2026 is the new Vilebrequin Collector’s Edition, an exclusive model limited to just 200 units for the Italian and French markets. It features a retractable soft top, giving the tiny EV an even more relaxed, beach-inspired character.
The special edition stands out with its nautical-themed two-tone exterior, silver accents, a chrome rear luggage rack, and Vilebrequin’s signature turtle emblem on the driver’s door.
Inside, the cabin continues the maritime theme with white seats decorated with blue turtle motifs, matching white seat belts, and a reversible Dolcevita storage box. Faux wood floor mats, inspired by the decks of Mediterranean yachts, complete the distinctive look.
