Aixam City 2010-2016
The City is the most compact model in the AIXAM range. The second generation of AIXAM City microcar entered the market in 2010. The new grille gives the City dynamic and original style. There are LED daytime running lights on both sides of the front grille. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the new handles make it easier to open the door.
New materials are used in the interior. The grained leather look of the dashboard and soft touch of the doors are worthy of the best automotive achievements. Optimization of the heating and ventilation system ensure passengers excellent thermal comfort.
The engine is a 400 cc Kubota diesel rated at 4 kW (5.4 hp) at 3200 rpm. More efficient engine encapsulation optimizes the soundproofing. The City has disk front and drums rear brakes. Top speed — 45 kph. Fuel consumption — 2.96 liters per 100 km. Curb weight — 350 kg, total mass — 675 kg. The microcar with a length of 2720 mm and width — 1500 mm, has a wheelbase of 1795 mm.
AIXAM City is available in two option levels: Pack and Premium. The Premium features ABS, rear wiper, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, heated rear window, chrome parts, spare wheel and 14” alloy wheels.
Another version in the new City range is the AIXAM City S. To create sporty look designers use several new details, such as 14″ White alloy wheels, twin exhaust pipes and colored interior panels. The AIXAM City S is available in Red, Blue and Black colors with White strips.
The City Techno is the most expensive version in the range. It has new interior design, ‘turbine’ allow wheels and ABS in standard equipment. It is €2,000 more expensive than the City Pack.

In 2013, the City was updated with the new exterior design. The refreshed microcar got new front end, new wheels and new interior materials. 2013-2016 AIXAM City was available as City Pack, City S, City Premium, City Black Edition and City GTO. The new City is also offered as pure electric microcar e-AIXAM e City with 110 km range and 4 kW electric motor.
