The Suzuki CUE Concept debuted in 1991 as a kei car prototype at the 30th Tokyo Motor Show.

It featured a 657 cc engine positioned mid-ship, just ahead of the rear axle, but the most distinctive element was its unconventional roof design.

The roof could be opened in multiple ways—tilted forward, tilted backward, or fully retracted—giving the compact concept a level of versatility rarely seen in cars of its class.
